Corrosion Resistant ASTM A213 T91 Alloy Steel Pipe Application for
Boiler
ASME A213 Gr T91 Boiler Tube is made up of a boiler grade alloy
that is used in petroleum, petrochemical, heat exchanger, condenser
and boiler applications. The material is a T91, K91560 grade with
carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, molybdenum,
vanadium, nitrogen, nickel, aluminum, niobium and 8% chromium in
the composition.
The ASTM A213 T91 chrome moly tube is very much corrosion resistant
and heat resistant so that it can operate under high temperatures
with corrosion resistance. The pipes are seamless in production and
are hot rolled or cold drawn. The sizes range from 6.35mm to
101.6mm outer diameter with wall thicknesses ranging from 1mm to
200mm. The length of the SA 213 T91 Boiler Tube ranges from 1m to
12m with single random, double random and cut to length sizes. The
applications require different pressure capacities and the pressure
capacities of the Alloy Steel T91 Welded Tubes range from standard,
sch40 and sch80 schedules. There are different forms of the pipes
such as the round, square, rectangular and hydraulic types. The
pipes also have different pipe ends such as the threaded, beveled
and plain end types. The ASME SA213 Grade T91 Seamless Tube high
strength with minimum yield strength of 415MPa and minimum tensile
strength of 585MPa. The high strength along with other mechanical
and physical properties allow the pipes to serve under severe
conditions.
